Bandol, slightly more lively, offers a pretty harbour, beach clubs, and easy access to the Bendor island (10-minute shuttle).
The Bandol calanques, accessible by boat from the harbour, rival those of Cassis: turquoise creeks at the foot of white cliffs, swims in deep water, lunch at anchor. A 30-minute day trip reaches Cassis and its calanques — combining the two coasts.
